In addition to skills development, Reitumetse Skills Development runs community focused initiatives that respond to immediate needs while supporting long-term growth and stability.
Free After Care Services
Our free aftercare programe provides a safe, supportive space for children from the community after school hours. The programme is designed to support academic development, positive social interaction, and overall well-being.

Children who attend the aftercar programme recieve:

-
Assistance with homework and school assignments.
-
Supervised study time in a safe environment.
-
Guidance and encouragement from caring adults.
-
Occasional participation in sports and recreational activities when funding allows.

The initiative helps working parents and caregivers while giving children the support they need to stay engaged in their education and build confidence.
Weekly Soup Kitchen Drives
Food insecurity remains a serious challenge in our community. Through our weekly soup kitchen drives, we provide nutritious meals to vulneable community members who may otherwise go without.

Every Friday, we serve meals to an average of 75 to 100 community members, including the elderly, unemployed individuals, and family in need.

The soup kitchen is more than a meal. It is a point of dignity, care, and connection for those facing hardship.
